Amber

Amber is a material that is used to make a special amber armor and amber weapons in the Shivering Isles. The armor is put into the "Light Armor" category. It can be found on Gnarls or in amber stumps that are mainly found underground.
Head to The Missing Pauldron in Bliss to forge the material into armor or weapons. You will have several options depending on how many pieces of amber you have. Most armor requires two pieces of amber, but greaves are three pieces and a cuirass is five pieces.
Magical Amber armor and weapons can be created if a Matrix is found. Each matrix is set to a specific armor or weapon type. The matrix and an appropriate amount of amber will allow the smith to create a magical version of that piece in amber.
