Aristocracy

In Cyrodiil, the term aristocracy refers to the royalty who hold exceptional rank and privileges, such as Counts and Countesses. In the Shivering Isles the term describes the Dukes and Duchesses (also addressed as "Lord" and "Lady," respectively). All cities in Cyrodiil are governed by a Count or Countess, and all aristocracy reside at their city's castle. The Imperial City is the exception; Chancellor Ocato, head of the Elder Council, is considered the Imperial City's member of the aristocracy.
