Armand Christophe

A home-owner on the Imperial City Waterfront, Armand Christophe spends a lot of time with the seedier elements of Tamriel. Supposedly, Armand humiliated Guard Captain Hieronymus Lex years ago, and Lex has always had a personal vendetta with Armand because of this incident.

Tip: Before joining the Guild you may repeatedly pickpocket him, even if you've been caught, to level up sneak. Armand won't report your crime.
Armand Christophe is a Doyen. Armand is the first Doyen you meet and gives you the quest May the Best Thief Win. This quest allows you to join the Thieves Guild.
You must meet him in the Garden of Dareloth on the Imperial City Waterfront around midnight.
After becoming The Gray Fox, Armand no longer appears at midnight in the garden, but can easily be found in his home or the guild hall.
