Chorrol sits at the base of the Colovian Highlands in northwestern Cyrodiil. The house of Arborwatch is for sale. It is a well-mainted town with clean streets and a high standard of living. Chorrol's symbol is the Great Oak, which still stands in the center of the city. It is used as a place of meeting for the residents of Chorrol.

Chorrol is a city that the Fighter's Guild seems to be centered in, as the Guildmaster Vilena Donton resides there. Chorrol is also not free of some poverty, as while some of the houses and buildings are large, many are quite small and poor, for example Modryn Oreyn's House.
