Eldamil

Eldamil was the one that opened the Gate at Kvatch, marching on the city with a few companions to kill survivors. After the battle he was slain, killed by three townsfolk hiding in a cellar. After dying, he then became an ascended mortal within Paradise, much like the rest of his fallen companions.
For Eldamil's weakness, remorse, and an obvious distaste for the supposed "Paradise", his master banished him to the Forbidden Grotto to torture his former comrades who showed similar ingratitude for the gift of eternal life.
Eldamil was one of Mankar Camoran's chief lieutenants in the Mythic Dawn cult. He's an Altmer found inside the Forbidden Grotto of Paradise, and will aid you in removing the Bands of the Chosen. He will also help you fight his former master, if you so choose. Accepting or refusing his help does not have any consequences on the outcome of the battle, and he will die at the end of the level no matter what you do.
