Falcar

Falcar is the crotchety Chapter Head of the Cheydinhal Mages Guild and a necromancer. He looks rather pleasant at first, then he opens his mouth to speak. This curmudgeon is the insulting quest-giver for the Cheydinhal Recommendation. Falcar sleeps in the basement of the Mages Guild in Cheydinhal.

Joining the Mages Guild through him can be rather entertaining, as he's very blunt and painfully rude. When inquiring about the Recommendation, he insults both your intellect and ambitions. Cold and haughty, he definitely fits the bill for the stereo-typical Altmer. The rest of the Guildmembers will quaintly explain to you that Falcar enjoys perverted jokes--the basis of his recommendations.

Later in the Mages Guild quest, once you're admitted into the Arcane University, a nasty plot will unfold dealing with Necromancers. Falcar becomes a key NPC in the quest Ambush.
