Farwil Indarys

Farwil Indarys is the son of the Count of Cheydinhal and a Dark Elf. He is also the leader of the Knights of the Thorn. He believes his knights are capable of anything so when an Oblivion Gate opens up outside Cheydinhal, he and his knights rush in to close it with heavy losses. You can find him and one other knight alive in the oblivion gate and is your choice whether to save him You could become a member of this minor faction if you make sure he survives in the Main Quest. If you save Farwil, not only do you get a Knights of the Thorn Medallion, but the choice of taking the leveled Staff of Indarys, or the Thornblade.
