First Era

The First Era is the era following the Merethic Era, and preceding the Second Era. The Era begins in 1E 1 and lasts 2,920 years, ending in 1E 2920. The most drastic change for Tamriel in this era is the rise of the Human races.
The more significant events of this era include the beginning of recorded history, the eradication of the Dwemer, the rise of the First Nordic Empire, Queen Alessia's successful rebellion against their Ayleid masters and subsequent creation of the First Empire of Men, and The War of the First Council.
