Hammerfell
From the OblivioWiki – your guide to everything Oblivion
Hammerfell is the land of the Redguard. It is bordered by High Rock to the north, Skyrim to the northeast, and Cyrodiil to the east and southeast. Its environment is a mix of plains and desert, just like in the Gold Coast in south-west of Cyrodiil.
[edit] Places of interest
[edit] Sentinel
Located on the edge of Iliac Bay, Sentinel is a major merchant city. The Sentinel Palace, the oldest and largest Redguard architectural monument, is the headquarters of the Provisional Governor. The Royal Theatre and the craftmanship of the city attracts nobility from distant corners of the empire.
[edit] Stros M'kai
Housing another Provisional Governor, Stros M'kai is located on a small island off the coast of mainland Hammerfell. Strategically situated, one is able to survey most of the surrounding waters in the Abecean Sea from the island. The Provincial Governor is therefore tasked with the demanding job of keeping the waters clear of pirates. Dwemer ruins are located on the island, but more notable is the island's proximity to the Cape of the Blue Divide, home to the Aldmeri Dominion.
