Invisibility

From the OblivioWiki – your guide to everything Oblivion

Invisibility causes the target to become invisible. The magnitude of the effect is the duration of the Invisibility. Invisibility ends once the duration has run out or if the target attempts an action such as attacking, talking, or activating a container, in contrast with Chameleon which remains active while attacking or using items/doors. Invisibility belongs to the school of Illusion.

The birthsign of The Shadow gains a 60 second Invisibility power that can be used once per day.

[edit] Hints

  • If you recast invisibility before it has finished, you'll remain invisible.
  • If you recast invisibility just before opening a door, and you open the door before the casting animation has finished, you'll cross the door and remain invisible. This also works on chests and similar items.
  • Invisibility doesn't allow you to avoid guards if you have a bounty, although sneaking does.
