Irlav Jarol is a male Imperial residing in the Arcane University, where he serves on the Council of Mages. He is a researcher specializing in Ayleid history. He is also the author of the book Magic from the Sky.
In the quest The Bloodworm Helm, Irlav is found dead, the helm is still in his possesion though. He is murdered by a group of necromancers, daedra and a high-rank Dremora.
