The Daedric Prince of Life and Lady of Infinite Energies, Meridia is one of the Princes whose obscurity prevents most mortals from understanding much about him at all. He almost always comes in the form of a beautiful woman, and like a siren, he calls mortals in to do his bidding for him. Meridia has always had a passionate hatred for all things undead, and takes great joy in rewarding mortals who purge the realms of the wretched walking-corpses, along with any Necromancers who've tampered with Meridia's life-giving energies.

The prophet revealed when Umaril the Unfeathered was destroyed he made a deal on Oblivion with Meridia to bring him back on a new body. Meridia is also responsible for the creation of the Aurorans, the large, golden-armored beings who inhabit her plane of Oblivion, the Colored Rooms.

In the quest Meridia's Shrine, Meridia gives the hero the Ring of Khajiiti, which has chameleon and fortify speed enchantments.
