Namira is the one of the Daedric Princes, the powerful rulers of the Daedra and the planes of Oblivion. Namira's sphere is that of the ancient Darkness, and she is primarily associated with spiders, insects, slugs, and other repulsive creatures which inspire mortals with an instinctive revulsion.

The book "Beggar Prince" describes Namira as being "swaddled in rags from head to toe" with no portion of her body being visible. However, her statue at the Shrine of Namira (shown to the right) shows a different "face" of Namira.
[edit] Daedric Artifact
Namira's artifact is the aptly named Ring of Namira, a ring to be used "to bring pain to others who wish it upon you". To acquire it you must complete the Shrine of Namira quest.
