Location of the Priory

Once you reach the Priory of the Nine, you must open the stairs to the basement by placing Sir Amiel's Ring into the symbol on the floor, which slopes downwards to reveal a flight of stairs.

Continuing down to the Priory basement, and then even further into the Undercroft, you will find a large crypt, with the Cuirass of the Crusader just across from you on a stand. As you approach, a ghost steps out and defends the armor. He identifies himself as Sir Amiel, one of the Knights of the Nine. And so, a challenge is posed: You must defeat all eight dead Knights in order to prove yourself worthy to claim the Cuirass.

The Knights step into the ring one by one, and return to the edge after they have revived. Lastly, you must defeat Sir Amiel. Once he is defeated, the Knights yield, and you may take the Cuirass of the Crusader from the stand.

From this point, the quest becomes free-form. You can go around the ring of Knights and question them about the artifacts and where they may be located. There is no specific order to the gathering of these items besides reaching the Mace of the Crusader as that requires the Boots of the Crusader.

The next quests are Nature's Fury (then The Path of the Righteous), Stendarr's Mercy, and Wisdom of the Ages.
