Second Era

The Second Era precedes the Third Era and follows the First Era. This Era lasts a relatively short 896 years compared to the other Eras, starting in 2E 1 (also commonly CE 1, for "Common Era"). The end of the last era Era is marked by the assassination of the Reman Dynasty and the rise to the throne of Emperor by the Tsaesci Potentate Versidue-Shaie and later his son Savirien-Chorak.
Some of the significant events that occur in this Era is fall of the Second Empire of Men and Rise of the Third Empire of Men, the forming of the Mages Guild and Fighters Guild, the forming of the Dark Brotherhood (splinter group of the Morag Tong), and the union of all Tamriel under the Cyrodiilic banner of Tiber Septim.
