[edit] Chests in the Castle

I had quite the collection of assorted weapons and armor in the barracks of the Castle, then to my horror, the chests empties themselves! I was under the impression that any house you own (castle included) your chests would not empty after 3 days. Will the ones in the bedroom also empty? As a general rule, will the chests and cabinets and such in other expansion locations reset, and will the random storage locations in all the game-included houses reset?
