Talk:Honor Thy Mother

[edit] Name

Am I the only person who thinks that the name of this quest is a refference to the Dream Theater song "Honor Thy Father" ? Maybe it's just a corruption of the expression...

Nope, i thought the same thing when i saw the connection. That's a good song either way...
While I cannot rule it out, I find it a bit unlikely. The lyrics of the song have nothing in common with the quest or the Dark Brotherhood quests as a whole. It's far more likely to not be a reference to anything, beyond the Jeudo-Christian commandment of Honor thy Mother and Father. So, unless someone on the Dev team mentions how they're Dream Theater fans, it's a little bit of a reach. Secondtalon 13:09, 30 March 2007 (CDT)

[edit] Question

I'm not sure the reason for this statement is:

"Before starting this make sure you have almost nothing in your inventory. Drop most of your items in your house or something then find Arquen. If you don't do this you may have to drop some of your items in order to get new ones from the crypt."

Why exactly is it recommended that some of your items are dropped? If the statement is referring to encumbrance, then 1) if the statement is kept, that we clarify what it means; or 2) it doesn't need to be there, as it's common sense. --theSpectator talk 21:21, 28 March 2007 (CDT)

I cleaned up the phrasing to reflect that you're not going to be able to return to the crypt once you leave. Still, there's probably a better way of phrasing it. Secondtalon 13:13, 30 March 2007 (CDT)
