Unless I've read the first paragraph of the article wrong, this is the Dawn Era under a different name. \*\ Hellhound43 09:12, 20 August 2007 (CDT)
- This article is a complete mess, but I've clearly been slacking in my lore cleanup :)
- The article is correct in that the Dawn Era and Mythic Era are two different things. But it has them backwards. (This is based on what I've read of Michael Kirkbride's postings -- he's the Bethesda employee who seems to be "in charge" of their official lore canon.) The order of the eras in the Elder Scrolls universe is:
- Dawn Era: Creation of the universe through the period when Lorkhan's heart lands on Tamriel.
- ME2500: Elven history starts, counting down to ME1 when the Camoran Dynasty in Valenwood is found.
- 1E 1: White Gold Tower becomes an independant city-state, human history starts, through 1E 2920 when Reman III dies.
- 2E 1: Akaviri rule starts, through 2E 896 when Tiber Septim completes unification of Tamriel.
- 3E 1: Septim dynasty begins, through approximately 3E 433 (unless you play really slow) when Martin Septim dies.
- 4E 1: Start of the post-Septim Empire.
- I'll try to clean things up a bit but I'm short on free time for the next few weeks. Kutulu 07:10, 26 August 2007 (CDT)
