Umaril the Unfeathered is one of the main NPCs featured in the official mod Knights of the Nine. He is commander of the Aurorans, a new type of daedric fighter equipped with Ayleid Battle Axes, that you face during your quest for the relics of the Crusader. Umaril wields a powerful claymore.

Umaril was originally a powerful Ayleid tyrant. He was dealt a mortal blow by Pelinal Whitestrake, companion to St. Alessia and Divine Crusader of the Nine Divines. Pelinal was then slain by his minions. However, due to Umaril's great power, he did not die. His body was instead re-forged, much like what happens to Dremora when they die.
